WHAT HAS THE BISEXUAL MOVEMENT UGANDA ACHIEVED SINCE 12TH FEB 2007

We wish to stress the fact that we have not yet achieved most of our Goals due to a number of issues.

· Lack of support from the government of Uganda

· The penal cord in regards to sexual orientation rights

· Lack of financial support

· Fear of being arrested by the government authorities

· Unavailability of providers of legal services to bisexuals / LGBTI

· Lack of offices in our district branches

We have also managed to reach to the public and policy makers through talk shows. We hope to start up awareness campaign for bisexuals in Uganda when we are funded.

We have been able to reach out emotionally to our fellow bisexuals through our organizational branches in different districts of Uganda.
.
We have also developed relationships with LGBTI and Human Rights Organisations outside Uganda which has given us a lot of encouragement and moral support.

CONCLUSION

Bisexual movement Uganda is hereby seeking partnership and advocacy Programmes with the existing social service providers, whether NGOs, Government Organisation, Public and private institutions, Organizations those are active in fighting discrimination and promotion of LGBTI Rights, to create space for Bisexual / LGBT in our demand for
Freedom, Justice and Equality in Uganda.

Your Contribution, towards the further ness of our causes will be highly appreciated.

FREEDOM, JUSTICE, AND EQUALITY FOR ALL

We are so happy for your invitation and we are going to put it into Consideration, and we hope to get more from corporations with human rights organisation to fight for fundamental human rights of the bisexuals in Uganda
